Principle of action:

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is the 1 amino polycarboxylic acid, can effectively chelate calcium ions in the blood, chelate calcium will be removed from the reaction point to prevent and terminate the endogenous or exogenous coagulation process, thereby preventing blood coagulation, compared with other anticoagulants, its effect on the agglutination of blood cells and the morphology of blood cells is small.

 

Product advantages

  • The use of high-precision metering pump precise control of additive injection.
  • Accurately control the atomization and drying effect of the additive solution in the test tube, so that the anticoagulant crystal particles are evenly and finely distributed on the inner wall of the test tube, and improve the uniformity of contact with the blood sample.
  • Strict process control ensures the stability of vacuum degree and effectively ensures that the blood collection volume reaches 10% of the preset volume within the effective period.

4. When used for blood cell count, EDTA salt has less influence as anticoagulant [1], and the solubility of EDTA-K2 is better than that of EDTA-Na2. Therefore, Sirunfei blood vessel anticoagulant is prepared with high purity EDTA potassium salt.

 

* Note [1]: In 1993, the blood anticoagulant with less influence on blood cells was determined by the International Committee for Standardization in Hematology (ICSH) as EDTA salt.

 

Clinical application

Whole blood collection vessels are mainly used for the examination of hematology or immunohematology items in clinical experiments, such as blood routine, blood type identification, cross matching blood and other items, and cannot be used for blood coagulation, trace elements and PCR examination.
