This collection of rimless optical designs builds directly upon two key attributes of Akoni. Two key brand symbols—the minimal, perfect geometries of the circle and square—have been combined to an intriguing and fresh new lens shape. And the brand’s profound connections with Japan (where Akoni’s respected artisans are based and from where the key components of every Akoni design are sourced) is underlined with a singular silhouette that seamlessly melds futuristic Tokyo edginess with the powerful and enduring intellectual spirit of Japanese culture. To balance the geometric simplicity of the lens, Juno relies on powerful-yet-featherweight Japanese titanium frames, embellished with familiar signatures, including a side temple adorned off with Akoni’s knurling piece and capped with a branded temple tip topped with custom screws.
