Made from mineralized, thousand-year-old agarwood from Jayapura, Indonesia, the logs are left to stand for over a year to
completely remove moisture before being processed. Each string of beads is crafted from the darkest, heaviest wood.

These beads were dug from areas where the resin of agarwood is concentrated. Their high density prevents them from floating.

A close-up of these agarwood beads reveals their hard, lustrous texture, naturally formed after the mineralized agarwood was processed into beads, not polished.

Upon close inspection, the oil inside the holes matches the outer surface.

There's very little Jayapura wood left, which explains the rapid price increase of the semi-submerged prayer beads.
