HISTORY
From Strain Database to Vertical Integration: Glac Biotech's Journey
2008
Glac Biotech was established in Taiwan and created a probiotic strain database.
2010
The probiotic screening platform technology was established and the company expanded our international business operations.
2017-2018
Glac Biotech established a plant in Chiayi, launched the PRONULIFE® brand for probiotic blend ingredients and became members of International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics- ISAPP and International Probiotics Association- iPA.
2019-2020
Glac Biotech launched the Totipro® brand for postbiotic ingredients and our plants obtained international certificates：HACCP, ISO22000, FSSC22000, TQF, and NSF. We won The 16th National Innovation Award and TALAB Innovation Product Award, and expanded our verification to Malaysia for exports
2021-2022
The Chiayi plant introduced world-class fully automated fermentation equipment. Established the world-exclusive PRONEX® probiotic manufacturing technology and the PRIMETEK® vertical integration service for the entire industry chain. Glac also obtained the TGA medicine certificate in Australia and our Lactobacillus rhamnosus MP108 probiotic strain is the first in Taiwan to be approved by China for use in infants.
2023-2024
Glac is thrilled to expand our new plants in Hsinchu and upgrade our PRIMETEK® service.
