Why buy Shouxintang incense products?
1. Shouxintang makes its own incense products including: upright incense, coil incense, lying incense, and tribute incense, etc. What is the biggest difference between these and commercially available incense products?
The biggest difference is that Shouxintang incense products are made with pure natural agarwood and sandalwood powder. How so?
Taking upright incense as an example,
Shouxintang uses pure natural agarwood and sandalwood powder, which is ground and then processed through a process called "permeation" ( each stick of incense undergoes four water treatments, and the amount of raw wood powder used in each treatment is the same ).
Each stick of incense is lighter in weight; natural incense is lightweight and doesn't burn your hands. Commercially available upright incense contains less natural powder. The powders used as substitutes include industrial lime and various waste materials, such as household partition boards, discarded tables and chairs, fabrics, and plastics. These are heavy and, after testing, contain many harmful substances! Therefore, each stick of incense is heavy, hot to the touch, and has a strong pungent smell! In contrast, Shou Xin Tang's incense, when lit, has a fragrant and far-reaching aroma. Its aroma is ever-changing and layered, bathing the listener in a fresh and sweet atmosphere. Those familiar with the scent of original wood will immediately recognize the origin of the agarwood and sandalwood powder. Newcomers to incense will also find it fragrant, non-pungent, and not hot to the touch. While the appearance of incense products may be similar, the quality of the materials varies greatly. 2. How long can Shouxintang's incense products be stored? Will they go bad if stored for a long time? Before the incense products are made, the whole bags are stacked as described above. Some natural powders have been stored for nearly 20 years and still have a fresh fragrance. The transparent plastic bags lined with them feel sticky and fragrant with natural oils, indicating a rich oil content.
